I agree with Thomas Paine because what we wrote about the 3 quotes is true. A monarchy is sort of greedy and if they were a government they would only care about themselves and not care about others. The second reason is that Great Britian can hurt their economy and they are putting certain restrictions on trade. The last reason is there is no point for a small island to rule a whole continent that is 3,000 miles away. I think the continent can have their own ruler instead of having a ruler from another piece of land rule it.
