This is our pumpkin exploding video.

 Weight

The correlation for weight is no trend.

Weight does not have anything to do with the exploding of the pumpkin because even if the pumpkin was light, it would still break as if it was heavy.

Height

The correlation of height is negative trend.

The shorter the pumpkin was the more rubber bands it needed.

Cirmcumference

This correlation is a negative trend.

The smaller the circumference the more rubber bands were needed because the rubber band didn’t get start he’d as far.

 Diameter

The correlation is negative trend.

The smaller the diameter the more rubber bands you need.

Internal diameter

The correlation is negative.

The internal diameter is not being put pressure against so it is not as important.

 Rind thickness

this correlation has no trend.

image

If the rind is thick, then it will be harder to explode the pumpkin.

Rubber Band Length

the correlation is no trend.

If the length of the rubber band is thick, then it is going to make the pumpkin explode faster and easier.

What was your prediction? Why?

i predicted that our pumpkin was going to explode faster than the bigger ones because it was small.

What did you learn from this expirement?

I learnt that not because something is smaller on the outside it is going to be the same on the inside.
