Weight
There wasn’t a trend because the plots were scattered all over the graph when they were plotted.
Height
The plots on the graph were going in a negative direction because the plots seem to be decreasing and the line is decreasing.
Circumference
The plots are going in a negative trend because the smaller the circumference, the more rubber bands were needed becuase the rubber bands didn’t get stretched as far.
Diameter
There isn’t a trend because the plots are not going in a certain direction and it seems that there are pumpkins that have similar diameters.
Internal Diameter
There was no trend for the internal diameter because there were various of pumpkins with little similarities and the plots on the graph don’t go in a specific direction.
Rind Thickness
The rind thickness had no trend so it didn’t have much of an impact on the explosion of the pumpkin but they were similar with all of them so it affected in a way.
Rubber Band Length
The rubber bands came in different sizes so there wasn’t a trend to the growth or decrease of length since it varied.
My prediction was that the biggest factor when we explode the pumpkin is the thickness of the rind because there needs to be a certain amount of pressure depending on the pumpkin. I learned from this experiment that there has to be certain factors that combine to make enough pressure so that an object such as a pumpkin explode.
