I agree with Thomas Paine if I was a citizen because he was trying to help the citizens. Thomas Paine tried to help by believing that citizens should be the ones making the laws instead of the Kings and queens. Paine wrote a pamphlet called “Common Sense” that supported the citizens. It explains about the Monarchy, England, Great Britain. Great Britain was hurting the economy with taxes.
