What is Irony?

The use of words that mean the opposite of it’s real meaning.

One example of irony is:

You beg your parents for a kitten, then you find out that you’re deathly allergic to them.

One example that is NOT ironic is:

A baby crying.

Another example is:

This is ironic because, how could you call the phone service without a phone.

Another example that is NOT ironic is:

This is not ironic because you always have to pay for a bus.
