Angle relationships
Angle relationships I have learned so far is alternate interior, same side interior, same side exterior, alternate exterior, corresponding, and vertical.

Angles in a triangle

You are able to find angles in a triangle if all the sides equal. A triangle has to equal 180 degrees. So that means each corner as to equal to the other two corners in order to make it equal 180.

Triangle inequality

Three side lengths will not make a triangle if the areas of the smaller squares do not equal the area of the larger square. Three side length will make a triangle if the smaller square areas equal the same as the largest square area. I was able to tell if it made a triangle because if the area of the small squares equaled the area of the large square area and we had to decide if it was acute, obtuse, or a right angle.

Triangle side length patterns

If 3 squares have sides that make an acute triangle, the sum of the areas of the 2 small squares are larger. If 3 squares have sides that make an obtuse triangle, the sum of the areas of the 2 small squares are smaller. If 3 squares have sides that make a right triangle, the sum of the areas of the 2 small squares are small or large. In order for the triangle the smaller triangle area will have to equal the area of the larger square.

Square roots

A square root is when you take a number and have to find the answer to it. You can estimate and find a square root depending on the number. If the number was 25 if you square root it it equals five. There is a connection between square root and exponents because 5 to the second power equals 25. So you can estimate a square root by thinking about the number and the exponent so if the number is 55 it is between the numbers 7 and 8 but closer to 7.

Pythagorean theorem
You can find one angle of a triangle by using the pythagorean theorem. You have the legs and the hypotenuse. In order to find the hypotenuse you need to use the area from the legs. If you need to find a leg you subtract the area of the hypotenuse from the area of the leg.
